They assisted the heroes by spreading their vast wealth of knowledge concerning the nature of the Four Fiends and the Crystals, as well as providing the Warriors with a Canoe to reach Mount Gulg where they would encounter Marilith, the Fiend of Fire.

GAME INFO

NAME ORIGIN
Twelve is a cardinal number, occuring after eleven and before thirteen. It is frequently found in religion and is central to the Western calendar of twelve months. In ancient Greek mythology, the Twelve Olympians were the principal gods. In Norse mythology, the chief god, Odin, had twelve sons. In the Old Testament, Jacob had twelve sons who were the progenitors of the Twelve Tribes of Israel. In the New Testament, Jesus had twelve apostles. In Judaism, the age of twelve signifies the time when a girl matures, called bat mitzvah. In Shi'a Islam, there are twelve Imams, the legitimate successors of the prophet Muhammad. The Western and Chinese zodiac both consist of twelve signs.
A sage is a person venerated for their possession of wisdom, judgment and experience. The word comes from the Latin word sapere meaning "to be wise".
