    The Thief was a stealthy member of the Warriors of Light. Although weaker than other fighters, the Thief was able to attack first and usually flee from battle before others. After completing the Citadel of Trials, Bahamut the Dragon King upgraded him to the class of Ninja.

GAME INFO
    Thief is one of the starting Job classes in Final Fantasy I. Thieves can use a limited number of weapons and equip light armor.
    Upgradable to the Ninja Job after presenting the Rat's Tail to Bahamut.

ADDITIONAL INFO
    In Dawn of Souls and the Anniversary Edition, there are 10 optional Auto-Names for the six character Jobs. Each name is a reference to another character or place in the Final Fantasy series. The 10 Auto-Names for the Thief are:
