Tceles Nottub Hsad was a magical incantation chanted by the living Brooms in Matoya's Cave. It revealed to the Warriors of Light the secrets of the world map.

GAME INFO
The magic spell teaches the player how to access the world map. Tceles Nottub Hsad is "Dash Button Select" written backwards. Pressing these two buttons together will show the world map and the current location of the party as well as locations of towns, dungeons, the Ship and the Airship.

NAME ORIGIN
This incantation's name is different in each version of Final Fantasy I because of the various layouts of buttons on different systems. "Tceles Nottub Hsad" is "Dash Button Select" in the Anniversary Edition, meaning the PSP's square button and select must be pushed to access the world map. In Dawn of Souls, this phrase is "Tceles Nottub B" meaning "B Button Select" on the Game Boy Advance. Final Fantasy Origins features "Elcric d'na, trats" meaning "Start and Circle" on the PlayStation controller. The original NES release had the spell reading "TCELES B HSUP" meaning "Push B Select".
