The Slaves toiling under the Palamecian Empire in the Mythril mines at Semitt Falls were the imprisoned townspeople of the nearby village of Salamand. Among those enslaved by the Empire were Nelly, the daughter of Princess Hilda's ally Josef, and Paul, the renowned thief from Fynn. Firion, Maria, Guy and Minwu infiltrated the Empire's operation at Semitt Falls and released the Slaves, allowing them to return to their homes in Salamand and robbing the Empire of their subjugated workforce.

GAME INFO
The Slaves, along with Nelly and Paul, are encountered on B3 of Semitt Falls. Speaking to Paul will free the prisoners and return them to Salamand for the remainder of the game.

NAME ORIGIN
A slave is a person who is the property of, and wholly subject to, another individual. The word derives the Medieval Latin Sclavus, meaning Slav, because during the Middle Ages, the Slavic people of Central and Eastern Europe were the last ethnic group to be captured and enslaved in Europe.
