NAME ORIGIN
Sahagin comes from Sahuagin, the name of a species of vicious fish-men who live deep beneath the sea. The inspiration for this creature and the name draws from the "sea hag" myths of eastern Europe. A queen is a female sovereign of a kingdom. The word comes from the Old English word cwen meaning "female ruler of a state".
