NAME ORIGIN
Remorazz comes from Remorhaz, which are arctic centipedes with winged heads from the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy roleplaying game.
In Final Fantasy Origins, this enemy was named Remora, a mistranslation but also the name of fish of the family Echeneididae having on the top of the head a sucking disck by which they can attach themselves to sharks, turtles, ships and other moving objects. The word comes from the Latin word remorari meaning "to delay" from the belief that they could slow ships down.
In the original NES release, this enemy was named GrPede which may stand for Green Centipede. Green is the color between yellow and blue in the spectrum. The word comes from the German word grun. A centipede is a long, flat, predatory insect of the class Chilopoda with many segmented body sections and legs. The name comes from the Latin centipeda meaning "hundred footed".
