NAME ORIGIN
Poison is a substance with an inherent property that tends to destroy life or impair health. The word comes from the Old French word puison meaning "a poisonous drink". An eagle is a large, soaring bird of prey belonging to the hawk family Accipitridae, noted for its hooked bill, size, strength and powers of flight and vision. Once widespread in North America, eagles are mostly confined to Alaska and a few isolated populations. The word comes from the Latin word aquila. As far as I know, there is no mythological or literary meaning behind the name. If you have any information, please feel free to contact the Webmaster.
