    Pit Fiends are monsters from the fantasy role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons, where the early installments of Final Fantasy borrowed alot of their enemy monsters from. In Dungeons & Dragons, Pit Fiends are a powerful breed of Baatezu, the ruling class of Devils.
