NAME ORIGIN
An order is a group or body of people living by common consent under the same religious, moral or social regulations. Many religious orders of knights arose in Europe around the time of the Crusades, including most famously the Knights Templar. White is meant to signify goodness and purity. The word comes from the Old English word hwit. A knight is a soldier serving under a feudal lord in the Middle Ages. Usually a man of noble birth, a knight would apprentice as a page and a squire before being risen to an honorable military rank by his lord and bound to a chivalrous conduct to protect his master and people. The word comes from the Old English cniht.
