NAME ORIGIN
Miss is a title of respect given to an unmarried woman. The word is a shortening of the word "mistress". Vamp is a shortening of "vampire" and is also used to describe a seductive woman who uses her sensuality to exploit men. A vampire is a mythical undead creature that feeds on the blood of the living. Most vampire legends originated in the Balkans and Eastern Europe. Eastern European vampires differ from the common romantic version of vampires in that they are a reanimated corpse, brought back to life by an undeparted soul or a demon. The common method of killing a vampire is to impale them with a wooden stake. The word vampire comes from the German word vampir, the original meaning is unknown.
