ANNIVERSARY EDITION NAME: Magicite

The various forms of Magicite were the chief ingredients in the creation of the ultimate destructive magic, the Black Magic spell Destroy, many ages ago during the war in Perseria. The three forms of Magicite were Blue Magicite, Green Magicite and Red Magicite. During their journey through the Arcane Labyrinth, Firion and his allies relived the sequence of events leading to Destroy's creation, helping collect the necessary Magicite pieces. Mages working under the General combined the three ingredients to fabricate the powerful magic, which was then given to Deumion, to protect it from falling into the wrong hands.

GAME INFO
The three forms of Magicite (Blue Magicite, Green Magicite and Red Magicite) are found in the laboratories scattered around the castle in the "Destruction" level of the Arcane Labyrinth.

NAME ORIGIN
Magicite is a reference to later games in the series. Magicite first appeared in Final Fantasy VI as the remains of perished Espers. Magicite derives from magic. The suffix -ite added to the end of the word is used to denote the object as a rock or mineral.
