NAME ORIGIN
A lizard is a scaly reptile of the suborder Sauria. The word comes from the Latin word lacertus.
In the original NES release, the name of this monster was Iguana. An iguana is a large, arboreal lizard native to Central and South America, having stout legs and a crest of spines from neck to tail. The word comes from the Arawakian iwana, the local name for the lizard.
