    The King of Cornelia was the sovereign leader of the kingdom of Cornelia as well as the head of the royal family. He was married to Queen Jayne and had two daughters, including Princess Sarah. He devoutly believed in the sage Lukahn's prophecy of the coming of the Warriors of Light, and when they finally arrived in Cornelia he pleaded with the heroes to rescue his daughter who had been kidnapped by the evil knight Garland. After the Warriors returned Sarah to her father, he ordered his soldiers to rebuild the ruined Drawbridge north of the kingdom.

    The King of Cornelia resides in the throne room on the second floor of Castle Cornelia.

NAME ORIGIN
    A king is a male sovereign and chief authority over a country or people. The word comes from the Old English cyning. Cornelia is a female name, originating from the mother of Gaius and Tiberius Gracchus in the 2nd century B.C. The name comes from the Roman family name Cornelius which derives from the Latin word cornu meaning "horn".
