NAME ORIGIN
Hyenadon (or hyaenodon) was an extinct species of large, carnivorous mammals that lived from the late Eocene to the early Miocene eras. The name comes from Latin and means "hyena-toothed". Hyaenodons also exist in the Dungeons & Dragons role playing game, where the inspiration for this monster most likely came from.
