ORIGINAL JAPANESE NAME: Unknown

DAWN OF SOULS NAME: Did not appear
ANNIVERSARY EDITION NAME: Green Magicite

Green Magicite, along with Blue Magicite and Red Magicite, was one of the ingredients needed to create the ultimate destructive magic, the Black Magic spell Destroy, many ages ago during the war in Perseria. During their journey through the Arcane Labyrinth, Firion and his allies relived the sequence of events leading to Destroy's creation, helping collect the necessary Magicite pieces. Mages working under the General combined the three ingredients to fabricate the powerful magic, which was then given to Deumion, to protect it from falling into the wrong hands.

GAME INFO
Green Magicite is found in one of the laboratories scattered around the castle in the "Destruction" level of the Arcane Labyrinth.

NAME ORIGIN
Green Magicite is a reference to later games in the series, although Green Magicite itself does not appear anywhere else. Magicite first appeared in Final Fantasy VI as the remains of perished Espers. Magicite derives from magic. The suffix -ite added to the end of the word is used to denote the object as a rock or mineral.
