NAME ORIGIN
    Golden apples are present in several myths and legends from various cultures. In Greek mythology, the eleventh Labor of Hercules was to steal an immortality-granting golden apple from Hera's Garden of the Hesperides, which was guarded by the hundred-headed dragon named Ladon. In Norse mythology, golden apples also grant immortality and are cultivated by the goddess Iðunn.
