NAME ORIGIN
    Flying is the act of making flight or passing through the air. The word comes from the Old English word fleogende. A ray is a fish of the order Rajiformes or Batoidei, adapted for life on the sea bottom, having a flattened body, enlarged pectoral fins and gills on its underside. The word comes from the Latin word raia.
