    The Ferry was a ship used to transport travelers from the port city of Paloom north to the seaside village of Poft. Firion and his companions used the Ferry to travel through the Sea between these two towns before Leila joined their party and lent her Ship to the heroes. The Ferry operated until the towns were destroyed by Emperor Mateus' ferocious Cyclone.

GAME INFO
    The Ferry is used to travel the Sea between Paloom and Poft. It is not controlled by the heroes and carries a fee of 32 Gil. After Leila joins the party, the Ship can be used for free. The Ferry is no longer able to be ridden after Paloom and Poft are destroyed by the Cyclone.

NAME ORIGIN
    A ferry is a boat used to transport passengers or goods across a body of water. The word comes from the Gothic farjan meaning "to sail".
