NAME ORIGIN
    A duel is a prearranged combat between two people as a way to settle a personal conflict. The word comes from the Medieval Latin duellum which means "war". A rapier is a long, narrow sword with a cuplike hilt used primarily for thrusting. The word comes from the Old French espee rapiere, meaning "long, pointed two-edged sword".
