NAME ORIGIN
Dragons are popular throughout the folklore and mythologies of the world. The word dragon comes from the Greek word drakon, meaning a "serpent" or "seafish". Armor is a metallic, protective covering worn as defense against weaponry. The word comes from the Latin armatura meaning "equipment".
In Final Fantasy Origins, this armor was called Dragon Mail. Mail is a flexible armor made up of interlocking metal rings. The word comes from the Latin word macula which means "mesh of a net".
