NAME ORIGIN
    Dispel is a word meaning "to cause to vanish". The word comes from the Latin dispellere meaning "to drive apart".
    In the original NES release, this spell was called Xfer, an abbreviation for "Transfer". Transfer is a word meaning "to move from one place to another". The word comes from the Latin transferre.
