NAME ORIGIN
Death is the end of life, the total and permanent cessation of all the vital functions of an organism. The word comes from the Middle English word deeth. A flower is the blossom of a plant, usually of a different color, shape and texture from the foliage. The word comes from the Latin word florem.
In Final Fantasy Origins, this enemy was named Doom Petals. Doom is another word for ruin, death, or an unavoidable ill fortune. The word comes from the Old English dom meaning "judgment". A petal is one of the often colored segments of the corolla of a flower. The word comes from the Greek petalon meaning "leaf".
