    Uttering the word "Darkness" to the mysterious seal in the Arcane Labyrinth, Firion and his friends were transported to a mysterious crystalline space suspended above the stars. Within they encountered a maze where they seemingly walked on air and the souls of the restless dead wandered aimlessly. The heroes helped the souls to be released from this prison and were graciously awarded with the key term "Thundercoud".

    Darkness is one of the areas of the Arcane Labyrinth. It can be accessed by saying the key term Darkness to any of the magic seals found throughout the Labyrinth. Random enemy encounters are rare while exploring this level.

    Darkness was the complete and utter absence of light. After speaking the word "Wyverns" in the Arcane Labyrinth, Firion and his allies were transported to ruined castle reminiscent of Castle Deist. It was here that they encountered an ailing Wyvern, awakened by the ringing of the Goddess's Bell, who requested a Potion of the heroes. The grateful dragon revealed the key term "Darkness" to the heroes in thanks.

    Learned from the Wyvern in the Arcane Labyrinth's Wyverns dungeon after waking him with the Goddess's Bell and then giving him a Potion.
