NAME ORIGIN
Dark is a word used to denote the absence of light or to describe something as "evil". The word comes from the Old English deorc. An eye is the organ responsible for sight. The word eye comes from the Proto-Germanic word augon. As far as I know, there is no mythological or literary meaning behind the name.
