ANNIVERSARY EDITION NAME: Crom

Crom was the name of a wanderer who passed away and was buried in the crypt that Firion and his friends explored in the Arcane Labyrinth. The heroes helped guide this wayward spirit back to his grave.

GAME INFO
Crom is the name on one of the tombs in the Arcane Labyrinth level accessed by using the key term "Soul". Crom's soul is found wandering around the area surrounding the grave, and is one of the spirits that the heroes must guide to its tomb in order to learn the key term "Mercy" from the old man at the dungeon's entrance.

NAME ORIGIN
Crom may be a reference to the fictional deity worshipped by Robert E. Howard's character, Conan the Barbarian. Howard based this deity on Crom Cruah, a deity of pre-Christian Ireland, reputedly propitated with human sacrifice, whose worship is said to have been ended by St. Patrick.
