The Chamber of the Seal was the location where the Ultima Tome was held in the afterlife. The Tome's guardian, the immensely powerful Ultima Weapon, kept the spell from falling into the hands of those who were not worthy of wielding Ultima. After their untimely deaths battling the Palamecian Empire, Minwu, Josef, Ricard Highwind and Prince Scott explored the Chamber of the Seal by way of the warp point in the town of Machanon. The Chamber resembled the Mysidian Tower, where Minwu originally lost his life, using all his power to break the magical seal preventing access to the Ultima Tome. However, Minwu survived shattering the seal in the afterlife and the heroes were able to enter the Ultima Tome's resting place where they were challenged to battle by the Ultima Weapon. The fallen heroes defeated Ultima Weapon and the guardian bestowed the mightiest of spells upon Minwu, stating that no man was more worthy of commanding it.

GAME INFO
The Chamber of the Seal resembles the top floor of the Mysidian Tower. Inside, the Chamber is devoid of random enemy encounters, the only battle is with the Ultima Weapon. In the same chamber as the Ultima Weapon, four orbs are found that enhance Strength, Spirit, Intelligence and Agility.

NAME ORIGIN
A chamber is another name for a room or private space. The word comes from the Greek word kamara. A seal is anything that tightly or completely closes or secures something else. The word comes from the Latin word sigillum.
