    A Bronze Shield was a small piece of armor made from a sheet of bronze. Prince Gordon carried this shield when Firion and his friends encountered him in Kashuan Keep, searching for the mythical Egil's Torch.

NAME ORIGIN
    Bronze is a yellowish-brown alloy of copper with up to one-third tin. The origin of the word comes from the Persian birinj which means "copper". A shield is a broad piece of armor, carried apart from the body as a defense against swords, lances, arrows and other weapons. The word comes from the Old English word scield.
