    Bombs were red, floating, fireball creatures with hideous, snarling maws maws and the ability to Self-Destruct, causing massive damage to their victims. A squad of ornery Bombs guarded the treasure chest containing the Ogrekiller axe in the Cave of Mysidia.

NAME ORIGIN
    A bomb is a spherical projective, filled with bursting charge and exploded by means of a fuze, by impact or otherwise. The word comes from the Greek bombos meaning "deep and hollow sound", referring to the sound of the explosion caused by a bomb.
