In Final Fantasy Origins, this equipment was named Ninja Suit. A ninja was a member of a 14th century Japanese society of mercenary agents, highly trained in martial arts and ninjutsu, whowere hired for cover purposes ranging from espionage to sabotage and assassination. The word comes from the Japanese nin meaning "to endure" and ja meaning "person". A suit is a set of matching outer garments. The word comes from the Old French sivre meaning "to follow".
