NAME ORIGIN
The Black Dragon's name comes from the fact that it is a black-scaled dragon. Black is the darkest color, at the extreme end of the grayscale opposite white. The word comes from the Old English blæc. Dragons are popular throughout the folklore and mythologies of the world. The word dragon comes from the Greek word drakon, meaning a "serpent" or "seafish".
