ORIGINS NAME: Bat
DAWN OF SOULS NAME: Bat
ANNIVERSARY EDITION NAME: Bat

Bats were small, flying animals known to inhabit caves and abandoned ruins.
A small group of Bats was found in the central chamber of the Chaos Shrine. These were the original five Lufenian warriors who attempted to uncover the entity controlling the Four Fiends, but were cursed by the Fiends to live on as Bats. After the Warriors of Light restored the light to the four Crystals, the Bats regained their ability to speak. They advised the heroes that to save the world, they must travel back in time and defeat Chaos, the real power behind the Fiends.
The devilish Vampire appeared as a Bat in the depths of the Cavern of Earth before transforming into his true form and attacking the heroes.
