NAME ORIGIN
A bard was a person who composed or recited epic or heroic poems, often while playing the harp, lyre, or other similar instruments. They were a popular form of entertainment during the Middle Ages. Bard comes from the Old Celtic word bardos meaning "poet" or "singer". A tunic is a gownlike garment, with or without sleeves, usually belted. It was typically worn by the ancient Greeks and Romans. The word comes from the Latin tunica meaning "coat".
